Every legend has a starting point, and for me, it all began in the heartbeat of Lagos.

Lagos na my city! I was born and brought up right there in Ojo-Alaba. The energy, the hustle, the sheer number of people doing their thing—Ojo-Alaba, Lagos, has been a major motivation to my entire career. It’s the sound of the streets in my music.
The moment I knew I had to do this was back in JSS1. I was watching the big dogs, and Ikwechuku and 9ice Alapomeji were the artists I was looking up to. Their music showed me what was possible.

The Craft and The Hustle

The journey of an artist is about more than just making songs; it’s about the hustle, the process, and the side gigs that keep the dream alive.

Yes, I had a side hustle while I was coming up. I was a phone engineer when I was in school. That taught me discipline and the value of a steady hand—skills you need in this music game too.
My creative process is unusual. For me, it's the beat that will give me the lyrics to put. The rhythm talks to me first, and then the words follow.
When it comes to my vibe, I feel like I am both an artist that relies on instinct and one who needs to be professional in the studio. You need the talent, but you also need the structure.
The main fuel for my songwriting comes from my personal life. The things I experience, the lessons I learn—that's the real content.
I'm drawn to the energy of a crowd, so my favorite way to connect with my fans is through public performance. Nothing beats that live connection

Challenges, Triumphs, and The Future

No journey is smooth, but the belief in the talent is what keeps the engine running.

What I believe will be my biggest success is my upcoming Album. I have an unshakeable belief in my talents and a profound trust in God to guide this project to where it needs to be.
The toughest challenge I’ve faced so far? It was dealing with the backstabbing from a trusted family member. That cut deep, but it also made me stronger.
I am naturally an optimist. I always feel happy for having any opportunity, no matter how small. Every door is a chance to grow.
The most discouraging moment was when someone I featured started claiming my song that trended the most. It was a painful lesson in the industry.
For me, success is happiness. It makes you feel good about yourself and good about everything you are doing.

The stage name I’ve adopted is Eyan Latest baba / Eleniyan.

My favorite food? Butter in a bread. Simple, sweet, and satisfying!
If I could advise my younger self, I would only tell him how music is life and that talents can't be hidden, and he should not give up.
Ultimately, I want my music legacy to be a motivation and a life contribution. I want my story and my sound to push others to keep going.
